Nothing new for 2014 ???

I'm hoping to see one or two more folders in the 4.5" blade range. Maybe a take on Mr. Demko's AD-11 to go along with the Lawman version of his AD-10.
 
It's kinda strange I've seen something from all the big companies now but not Cold Steel. I really wish someone would post some pics of some new stuff already.

They do seem to be the last one. Kershaw/ZT, Condor, and CRKT have all got their new product listings available, now, seems like CS will be the last one to put out their list.
 
I'm really hoping for more smaller knives, actually. The big ones would draw funny looks at school and on the job.

Fashionably late. Ah, well. I'd rather have the catalog be late than the products.
 
I'm a bit sad too... Was expecting some cool stuff from Cold Steel this year.

Like a black blade CS Spartan maybe? A guy can dream can't he?
 
Cold Steel really need to take notes on Kershaw. Lots of excitement posts etc. We get crickets from Cold Steel. I am sure they will say they are busy...which is great but so are the Kershaw people. More so now that people are going crazy for their new line up.

*shrug* SHOT show has become KAIs personal playground. Heck, I could sort of understand if Cold Steel didn't want to release during or right after, so threads about their products don't get buried in the heaping hype over Kershaw.
 
Hopefully now that the SHOT Show is over.

Next week will be the big release for them.

They did say that towards the end of the month was more likely.
 
Kershaw didn't do the reporting various web sources did and Kershaw wasn't the only one that showed off new stuff I've seen ton's of video on Buck, Condor, Benchmade, Boker and CRKT heck even Mora Knives has been posted. So why again no Cold Steel ??? Did they not allow people to take pictures or video of the booth, were they at SHOT ??? And if they weren't why haven't we at least heard something from them telling us when we will see the new goodies.

There is a post on the first page of this thread where Lynn or whoever the company mod is says they announce their releases near the end of January. There's still nearly two weeks left in January.

I am hoping to see more folders.

Definitely need to see more specifications on the new stuff.

I was hoping to see some new versions of previous designs for 2014:

A new version of the Land and Sea Rescue.

An all-G10 handle version of the Black Rhino.

It would be great if they did a larger 4.5-inch Code 4 too.
 
Yeah... Seen the blade hq site. I hope there's more. A larger version of their least interesting folding knife does not excite me. Additions in the super cheap line also not very exciting. I really hope there is more coming . Sorry , but Cold Steel has been really tearing it up the last few years my hopes are high. And there hasn't been anything that great from the other manufacturers .
