Nothing special, but I like it

Nice one, does it have hollow sheet metal bolsters ?.

I think that serrated blade was called WONDA-EDGE by Imperial/Schrade. You may want to show it in the Schrade Collectors Forum, some people there may know more about it.

About the allure of these knives, well I'm old and was raised with this type, so I like them. But even from a modern practical point of view, they are inexpensive, fit well in the pocket and do the job just fine, multiple blades let you use one for tough jobs and keep one sharp for details, and with the one in this thread, you have serrated and plain edges in separate blades.

Don,

The bolsters and the cover are metal. On the end of the bolster there is a tab which is bent over under the liner so I assume that it is hollow. I know next to nothing about knives (Other than they are cool :-) so I wouldn't know how to be sure without damaging it.

I'll post this over on the Schrade forum. Thanks!

Ulster made some small stockman with this handle style, although the Ulster versions were delrin. The serrated edge is cool, and I think this knife is pretty rare. I like it.

I want to carry it, but I'm concerned that the handle detail will wear away and detract from it. But what the hell! Why have a knife that you don't actually use?

Unique is always cool - you should see some of the cheezy junk I have.
BTW, I think that slippy is pretty cool. Probably most 9 yr old lads would drool over it.

It's odd that it has serrations on a slip-joint, some manner of fishing knife maybe?
What are the scales, plastic delrin I assume? Yes, it's a queer feller alright but it's unusual and certainly different from the herd, all knives are good if you like them and use them!

Definitely different, the deer reminds me of a cross between the Precise Knife Co and the Browning Logo.
