Nothing to see here. Move along.

Go to walmart then which is where i saw them (Concordia and Wichita, KS), their 110's had "made in china" stamped on em, along with the little slippies in BUCK boxes and the finish was ridiculously crap...I was under the same impression that they were US made still then saw the night i got into the US trying to pick up a EDC that they wernt.

um. ok. The slipjoint very well may have been made in China, but the 110 certainly isn't. I think Buck did a package of a 370 series slipjoint and 110 for Walmart.

This isn't an all of them, but every knife in that picture is stamped USA.

Like others have said, if a 110 says China it isn't a 110.

I'm just saying what i saw, its was stamped "BUCK 110 CHINA" and the smaller slippies had "Made in China BUCK" on them...i have several older bucks at home (mostly fixed blades), I know what it SHOULD say, but it didnt which is why i didnt buy one. Easy enough concept to understand and I aint disputing them not being made in the US, I just assumed buck's supply of 110's to walmart and various suppliers were no longer US made. At both stores they said they only had one left in stock of each model i asked to look at (didnt look at the fixed blades though).

Hence I was a little PO'd to hear they should be US made.

I think you're mistaken. The 110 is probably the last model Buck would move overseas. Furthermore, your declaration that the Chinese made Bucks as crap leads me to believe you weren't a very good observer.

Buck does make several knives in China, slipjoints, some more modern locking designs, an some fixed blades. None of the ones I've seen would qualify as crap.

Yes, I must be blind and cant read. *sarcasm* Either way i'm not making a big debate out of this...if you want to duke it out with other members over what I apparently didn't see then go for it. :)

I'm not on BFC to bicker over a minor issue, I didnt like what I saw so I go elsewhere, and I stand by the china slippies I saw had a crappy finish to what I am used to out of a buck owning older models.

Not trying to bicker. I just took the pictures because I didn't want unfamiliar members to be scared away from Buck.

I can't comment on the fit and finish of the China-made slipjoints as I never had a chance to try one out. They looked nice from what I saw though.

he Buck 110's have never been made in China, However some of the nylon sheatths for them are. Buck made a run of knives in China But they were fine quality and there were not many of them.

Many knives that are spoken highly of here are not made in the USA.
