Hey BB! FWIW- I've dealt with both you guys, albeit many years ago, and remember both of you being 2 being very nice trustworthy member's to deal with. It's a bummer (him changing his mind), but I think we all can relate, at the moment when you're handling a knife you've owned for the very last time, right before packing, and you start thinking of all the fond sentimental memories..... Sometimes selling a knife, can be more emotionally challenging, than breaking up with a significant other.

On a serious note: Have you ever seen/read this thread (1 of the longest in GBU history):
Hoback now admitted they source parts from out of country From ig Sorry for the small text, but it's what the company posted. My immediate thought is what a scummy thing to do in all of your advertising using the claim USA made (sorry missing 100 percent mind you), when it's really more...

^ Which most definitely changed the way I personally look at all Hoback knives now, once these revelations were made, on where, this flag waving /scripture preaching patriot's, supposedly custom hand made USA shop knives, were being assembled. I kind of thought that all of this guys knives would be readily available now, after that fiasco (and the stigma associated with his knives) went down; there was a mass unloading of Hobacks in the Exchange which seller's a very difficult time selling them, or at least and to drop their asking prices to around half what they paid.
Good luck moving forward.
