Nov. 2025 BOTM: It's the 949 Kitchen Ulu!!!

A brand new model. Never done before!
Branching into the "never been done before" territory scares me a little. But it should be better than releasing a Spitfire that already can be modified in 1000s of ways in the custom shop. I can't imagine what it could be. I suppose it has to do with cooking and there probably are some cooking knives that haven't been done yet. the anticipation is killing me :)

Maybe it’s a full size 110 with the axis lock !!! Aluminum frame and micarta inserts. I hope Buck is listening !!!

Maybe it's time for an Ulu.
Ai suggested the traditional Alaskan ulu as a knife that buck has never made before… you may be correct!

AI Overview

Buck Knives has never made a traditional Alaskan
uluknife.

While Buck has manufactured various kitchen knives including chef's knives, paring knives, and a "spreader" (likely a small utility or butter knife), the ulu, a specialized, crescent-shaped knife with a central handle, is a type of blade not found in their product history. Buck's primary focus has always been on hunting, outdoor, and everyday carry (EDC) knives.
