When I use a paring knife, I find any extra blade sticking out beyond what I'm paring, just gets in the way. So I use the shortest one I have. So If it is a paring knife I would prefer a small one, or maybe even a birds beak pairing knife.How about a large paring knife, magnacut blade with rosewood handle. I would get one or two of those. Lol
