I was asked to stock some smaller corby bolts made - so I had some made.

I now have 4 different sizes.

The shoulder (pin) sizes are:
5/16" (large)
1/4" (medium)
3/16" (small)
.120" (micro)

These are slotted on both ends and made of 303SS.

they are $2.15 each

you can get them here: >click it here<

thats killer
now i have corbies for paring knives
now do you have a set of bits to drill the step outs for them all ?

Wow finally somebody has made some small ones. You Da Man Tracy!! Yeah like Lloyd said, do you have step drills too?

We priced out having some step drills made. They came out to around $50 each. When you make a step drill (properly) you have remanufacture the flutes and that is complicated (expensive) machinery stuff. We took a pass.
We are looking at a 2 step process but that doesn't look *a lot* cheaper.

In the mean time, the answer is two appropriate size drill bits and locking your knife handle in place and not moving it when you are drilling both the smaller (shaft) and larger (shoulders) holes.

yep i have been drilling the minor then chasing with a step drill but not too far and then finishing with a 4 flute endmill
