We have three new, Made in the USA, offerings from Buck Knives that are sure to get the job done and get passed down to the next generation. First we have two members of Buck's new Compadre line. Made from tough, thick 5160 high carbon spring steel that has been powder coated red to prevent corrosion and make them easy to find and hard to lose. These come standard with durable, ergonomic, Walnut Dymondwood handle scales that are quite attractive. Black leather sheaths keep these tools close at hand. The Compadre Froe and Axe are sure to handle any heavy duty task you need to tackle.

Finally we have the Buck 245 Matt Would Go Fixed Blade Knife. This knife was designed by Matthew J. Leathers, a highly decorated US Navy SEAL that sadly lost his life in a deep sea diving exercise. Originally made by Leathers himself the MattWouldGo company has teamed up with Buck to recreate this hard use fixed blade for mass production. The full tang, spear point blade is made from black coated 5160 spring steel. The handle scales are custom, camo canvas micarta bolted directly to the tang. Deep finger grooves add additional grip security to the micartas texture. This knife is held securely in place via a Tek-Loc equipped kydex sheath so the only time it's going is when you are. If Matt would go with this knife, you can rest assured if it goes with you. Another great thing about this knife is that a percentage of net sales benefit the MattWouldGo™ LLC, which in turn donates to Navy SEAL Foundation.
