Now I get it...(de-assist content)

I have both, but I don't think it's a fair comparison. The KVT system and that big o' blade combine for an effortless opening. When adjusted properly, there will be no friction felt at the pivot. It's just not going to get that smooth with a bushing.
That being said, the 0350 is a darn smooth opener. Give it a try, worst case is you don't like it, so put it back.

Fair enough. Thanks. I think I'll give it a go. Possibly polish everything once I get it apart. I polished my buck vantage pro and it made all the difference.

So after following this thread I decided to de assist my 350 as well. Not sure how I feel about it. I can't seem to find a happy medium with the pivot. Either I get it loose enough to flip open, but not without some minor blade play, or its solid but to tight to flip. Blade play is a pet peeve of mine and while its very minimal it bugs me. Is this a typical trade off or could it just be something with my knife. Also when I adjust it to flip manually the blade rubs the liner. I really want to like it de assisted but I endded up putting the torsion bar back in. Any feedback is appreciated.

I didn't "get it" until I figured it out on a few different knive's studs. And it took practice, I still can't flip it as quick with the flipper.

When I get the pivot adjusted to where there isn't blade play I can flip it but it takes alittle bit of a wrist flick. I've seen videos about de assisting 0350's and the blade seems to fly out. I guess what I'm wondering is if there is typically some blade play when the pivot is adjusted to where u can deploy the knife with just the flipper and no wrist flick.
