I just got my 7. That was fast.
I am truly stoked. I now know what you guys mean with the cqc-7 I know I just got it but within the first few minutes I am loving it.

Yep, playin with her right now, Ouch, just kidding. It is growing on me like stink on a wet dog. This knife is a little beast of a gem. My first real tanto. And yes, a great start to a new family.
What I am really looking forward to is breaking her in. I didn't touch the pivot on the 8 for a long time when I got it, and when I did. it was very slight, and now after around 6 weeks, the 8 is feeling much smoother. I am thinking the same thing for the 7. I am new to the Emerson world, so I am definitely open for suggestions.
