What is the diffence between the Chalker sling, and the Emerson knife rig?

Also would the knife rig be dificult to get to under the emerson backpack as well?

(I'm looking for a shoulder knife rig, and maby a new backpack while I'm at it)

Maybe this could help :

Chalker, hmmmmmmmmmm. Any relationship to Dennis Chalker???

"T4", The sheath systems are independent of the Chalker sling.

EKI offers a "Folder Shoulder Rig" that carries the knife either open or closed. However, to the best of my knowledge, it is not set up to deploy folders via the wave.

EKI does offer a "Rapid Deployment Sheath" that does utilize the "Wave" feature on the Commander, SOCFK, SARK and Waved CQC7B. This sheath can be attached to the "Chalker Sling", Belt and most probably can be secured to a pack strap among other things.

Nimrod, yes, the "Chalker Sling" by Dennis Chalker.

Ok, finally the madness of studying for the FCC exam are over, I have another question, can the shoulder rig be accessable when you have a backpack on, or will I have to use a diffrent carry system for that?

Oh and how much weight can you carry in an emerson backpack before the zippers start to burst? (mine is starting to wear out from college)

Well I've had my Emerson Backpack for just over a year now, and that includes using it almost daily.

It has even survived two trips to the US at the mercy of the Airport Baggage Handlers and still looks like the day I brought it, so I'm happy with the quality.

Hope that helps.
