Scroll down to see the pieces that are now in the web store

OK.......I am easily amused.
This is some of the new dyed stuff that will be going into our web store tomorrow, Wednesday 3/19/2014.
Kind of weird, but in a good way.....I think. Final judgement is up to all of you.
In the beginning I would not dye woods and insisted on only natural coloring. I thought of myself as a purist.
But when I started listening to my customers I found out how little I knew. So now, every once in a while I get some of the wood dyed. I hope you all like this batch. Sure it's kind of weird but that's not always a bad thing.

If you have any comments or opinions you are welcome to post them. Even if you think they are butt ugly, I would like to hear what you think.

Does the dye go all the way through? Otherwise, grinding and sanding to shape, well......
I do love flamed maple though.

Those "snake skin" on the black dyed blocks are eye catching.

These are the blocks that I have added to our web store so far. The woods are Hawaiian Silky Oak and Curly Maple. Prices range from $35 to $50.
Click on the photo to take a closer look at what is available.

You know I'm not normally a dyed wood guy... but I think that blue Maple and the black Silky Oak is frick'n killer my friend....

Those of you who have commented about the black & blue have similar taste to me.
But......the first ones to sell out were the pink/purple colored maple blocks.
Myself I would have thought it would be the blue maple.

Mark if I didn't already have a piece of dyed blue curly maple from Stacy for a knife I'm doing they top right one in the first picture would be going on it.
