well almost. I found a hunter orange game warden and I think I got a steal. $215 shipped with a blaze orange sheath. I am so excited I am shaking. I picked up a Scrapper6 in a trade a while back but I love the applicable nature of the GW. It is truly the only Busse that completely had me wanting INFI. I can't wait for it to get here. I even had to sell a gun to get it. Never thought I would get rid of a gun to get a knife. Without even touching it I know I will love it. Should be here by Monday. This will definitely be an EDC knife especially after what I paid for it. Its by far the most I have spent on a blade yet. I am really glad it came with a sheath otherwise I would have to wait even longer to carry it. Just a curious question though. How much do new game wardens cost from the shop? I noticed that they had a few in the Easton pics and was just wondering since Busse knives are limited production are those just left overs? Well I am done babbling now. Stay Sharp.

I'll post pics when it come in.

Congrats Piglet. :D The OJ Warden is a great score.

Where did you find it?

Lycosa what do you know that I don't? Now I am scared. It was posted on GlockTalk a few weeks ago and only got bumped once. I tried to trade for it but like all Busse owners he didn't want any dreaded production knives. So I sold a gun to get it. Didn't even ask him to hold it or nothing just a great guy I guess.

HACKnPocket - is that better safetyman? I couldn't think of any other names at the time.

Congrats Hak! I would love to get my hands on an OJ warden as well. They always seem to go pretty quick when somebody is selling one though. I'd say you got a hell of a deal. Not sure of the condition of the knife, but I'd say at a minimum you got the knife for a great price and a free sheath.

Good job!!

Well I try. I am seriously shaking waiting for this knife. I hate the anticipation...

I know where you are coming from on that one. I got my first by trading a gun.

If you scored a orange g-10 in the thinner blade width, that was a great score.

I have a .22 with pumpkin, and I carry it every day. I really, really want to pick up a thinner version.

Yeah it's the thinner one. I had to look though a bunch of pages to find the one with the GW specs on it. I really need to give some money to this site so I can have search capabilities. Guess I need to sell something. I definitely plan to EDC this knife its the only way I can suffice having paid so much for it. But I just need to get it first. Don't guess it will be here till tuesday or wednesday. :grumpy: But that's cool cause the seller pretty much held it for me for almost 3 weeks. I hit him up for some trades and had nothing he wanted and he only bumped it once so I guess I got lucky.

I tell you what, I will just trade you my thicker pumpkin warded for that old crappy plain orange handled skinny. That way, you will get more steel.

Good score. That's one of the much-sought .14 satin versions if I'm not entirely mistaken.

I did notice that in the charts on an earlier thread it was one of the few thinner GWs. Was there a reason for going thicker? I kinda figure it would take away from the slicing capability of the knife since it would have a thinner blade thickness. And as for the trade no thanks I will revel in the bliss of INFI when it gets here but I do have a great Spyderco Volpe NIB I would gladly trade for that pumpkin GW. That knife is like a case of athletes foot. I can't get rid of it for nothing. Thinking I may just beat the heck out of it, maybe baton it with the GW when it gets here. Just Kidding. May super glue the GW to my hand. Damn it I am excited about that knife.

Oh Yeah I forgot... WLJ4163 this is all your fault. And all you did was talk the INFI up. I had to get one.
