Got my UBDOTD UBE today and also my 15" AK!!!
I thought I have hikv bad from must looking at the HI web page, but now that I have mine in hand....anyone want to buy a house???
hell I could live in a tent but where would I store all of the Kuk's??
Both the AK and the UBE have horn handles...the AK is round and the UBE is slabs, and nice slabs they are.
Took my AK out and cleared a path through my golden bamboo and noticed that even the small springy branches just popped off when my AK touched them. Not near as heavy or awkward as I thought it might be. I could clear a lot of brush with this thing!
Did not have an M80 tank to chop up in my yard but took my UBE out and whittled some loose wood laying around the yard. It is very suprising just how delicate the UBE will cut with some carefull watching of my hands and the blade. This is a very AWSOME looking and feeling blade....yea, though I walk thru the vally of death I think this BIG BABY will chop up death itself
.
I am totally blown away at the workmanship knowing just how primitive the Kamis have it with regards to modern machine shops!!!!
My AK has a small half moon on the left side of the blade and my UBE has what looks like a "lazy M" (my wife says it looks like a sail boat)on the left side. Are these the signatures of the Kami and if so who are they?
So, lets see now, 1 15" AK, 1 UBE, 1 village surapti, 1 C.S. Gurkha. Now this should last me for awhile....like hell too, I am off to the HI web page to look for more...this HIKV is making me crazy!
