WOW, what an intense three days. Several makers told me that their sales were better than this years Blade Show. To anybody's eyes the Saturday crowd was impressive, I am sure that it was the very best single day of any of the four shows. I have to say that considering the state of the economy the sales were remarkable. Having been going to knife shows for as long as there have been knife shows, the fact that a few makers did not sell well did not surprise me, what did surprise me was the quality of some of the knives that went unsold. Bill Rupple, of course, sold out, Tim Britton sold lots of knives as well as winning the award for Best Value of The Show. D' Holder and Bob Dozier both told me that their sales were fantastic. The Absolute BEST Show we have had! For some sense of what it was like go to Http://knifeevent.com and see the photos and posts on the blog. I have to admit that I am slowing down, instead of prowling all three days, I had to spend most of Saturday and Sunday sitting at the sharpening instruction table. A. G.

Had a great time, at a really neat show. Nice atmosphere, tremendous hospitality, the show manager was awesome :), lot's of families in attendance. Big name makers, and most all major manufacturers were in attendance. Giveaways, auctions, nice hotel...can't hardly wait for next years show.

Enjoyed the Loveless conversation A.G., really shed some early insight with some great stories.
