Damn Mike, nice work on that sheath. So am I sending you my next non-sheathed purchase so you can hook me up?

Beautiful knife, and excellent work on that sheath! I love well done, tidy leather work.

I've never warmed up to Scandi grinds other than on very thin blades, but I'm really tempted to give one of these a try.

I can't believe I am yet to own 1 of Andy's scandi knives... Whats up with that Mr. Roy???

Um. Whenever you're ready bro. You have my #.

I'm confused. Are Brian Andrews and Fiddleback both independently making this same pattern?

Yes. This is the case. Joe has both of us doing the design. Brians are really AWESOME!

That really is one classy looking blade, dare I say perfection ?;)

For some reason I'm not quite sold on Scandi grinds as a do-it-all edge, lucky these makers still do awesome convexed alternatives as well eh !!!!:D

The Scandi is not a do-it-all edge. Its GREAT at woodwork. Every other task is excelled by convex. And!! Convex aint bad at woodwork either.

I've done a few in 3/32" steel, and its wicked. Wicked stuff. VID of the 3/32" scandi in action:

Yup, I can see the confusion! A while back it was stated that Brian Andrews was toning down his knife making a bit, so I asked him if I could go to Fiddleback with the design. He said sure, so this is the steel fruits of that labor. THAT CONVEX ONE LOOKS AWESOME! WOW!

Wicked pics!!! I always like to see in hand shots. And seeing what the blade has done is always cool too!!!
