SOLD
Catch and release:
This is the super atomic, heavy-duty Zero Tolerance MUDD knife (ZT0500), designed by Grant and Gavin Hawk. The knife has an oversized 5/16th-inch pivot shaft and locks protected from mud, moisture and combat debris by polyurethane seals that are resistant to dirty fossil fuels and sharp changes in temperature. This knife is designed to take a mugging and keep on cutting.
The 3 5/8th inch (9.2 cm) blade is made from the time-proven 154CM stainless steel, coated with non-reflective tungsten DLC coating. Youll never see it coming. The spine is 0.1564 inches. Typical factory edge: Edge shoulders 0.033 inches wide. The edge is ground at 38 degrees inclusive. Mildly sharp. The handle is 7075 anodized aluminum, with textured G-10 scales that are very grippy.
The button on the side works like an axis lock, but I have no idea how it works on the inside. Its called the Hawk Lock. The bulbous, oversized thumbstuds/lugs are designed to make the blade easy to open, even with gloves or even if you want to wave it open. They have a very aggressive knurling. It has a a reversible pocket clip (right- or left-hand carry). Tip up carry. This sucker weighs 6.8 ounces, so youll need suspenders to carry it.And, oh yeah, Made in the USA.
I just bought this knife on the forum for $338. I probably over-paid, which I usually do. (Have to defend my title as the worlds worst businessman.)Price TYD in the USA: $295 (Now $250). (More for foreign postage.) Ill pay PayPal fees, postage and insurance. Please be honest and pay using goods and services. Price will not be removed from this thread after a sale to promote a consumer-friendly market and reduce the odds of fellow members being defrauded.
This knife is in beautiful condition. I dont know its history, but it doesn't appear to be used or carried at all. The handle is very grippy and fresh. Comes with box, which is in pretty good condition.First unconditional Ill take it in this thread gets it, if followed by a prompt PayPal. Off-thread sales OK, too, as long as someone hasn't already posted an unconditional "I'll take it" in this thread.
This is a totally amazing knife as a collectors piece. Its hard for me to image carrying it as an EDC, which I like to do with all my knives, at least from time to time. Id love to keep this knife, but I have no use for it -- not even for the glass breaker.
