Now with pics!! NeOhio Busse Boys Spring Lunch

Very cool. Some wicked knives there! Thanks for sharing mate :)

Looks like you all had a lovely time!

Glad to hear and see you had a good time. Some sweet knives on the table  I'm wondering... what is the knife on the bottom right hand side on the third pic?

Awesome pics Guy wish it was'nt so far from me. It looks like a great time and you can actually handle some Busse knives and compare them in your hand. Thanks for sharing,

That lower right corner knife is by Bill Akers of Backwoods Custom Knives or on this forum known as bacustomknives.
He sells under the Makers Forum.
Another very talented maker.
From Ohio also.

roenman is correct. Here is a pic of the knife in question. Beautiful hamon.

IIRC,it is from some maker in southern Ohio. We will have to wait for forager for more info.

Thanks for your quick replies guys! And I was already starting to get worried that I missed out on another choilless Busse model ;) That's an extremely beautiful knife you have there, forager

Hi, looks like a great time. In the second picture the far upper right there is a nice looking recurve blade second from the top. Could someone tell the model on it please.
Thank you

Alright, alright, I'll finally post some pics. We had a smaller group this time, but fun as always. It's great when the virtual community can become real community.

You may know that roenman has a serious Custom shop habit. I think he keeps Garth chained to a grinder just to make him cool stuff. ;)

forager has some nice Jacks. Glad to have had the opportunity to handle the BOSS Jack LE, and compare to my Satin Jack. (Fortuitously, a BJLE showed up on the Exchange recently at a great price, and I scored myself a Birthday present :D)

Thanks to Mauro, the manager of this Max and Erma's, for opening up an hour early just for us. It's not easy to find a place that will let us bring in knives like this.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 25. That's our next Chop-In and Hot Dog Roast!

Thanks for the post Guy!!! Great pics and some BA Blades Bro. Oh tell your daughter Happy Birthday from Alaska.

Looks like a great time Guy.

Hey Bill, it appears that you mistakenly took some from my box on your last visit to the shop;):D

Man, wish I was there for that!

Only other Hog I have ever met in real life is Oeser down in Utah. I have met him twice. Once to get a knife, and once in a park up the canyon to look at a bunch of his knives.

Good times. Would be even better in a bigger group!

That is an EU Uncle Mofo, and is described in this thread: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...il...-by-crook-or-by-hook....?highlight=grail

To my great surprise, one of those came on the market recently, at a very good price. I don't think one had ever been on the Exchange before.
