To change this knife in any way, shape, or form would be wrong.....I mean really WRONG.

I really hope that Jerry doesn't get carried away with the Nuclear Meltdown series. Maybe one more....a NMFSH.:thumbup:

Then move on to something else........this would also give my CC time to heal.:o

Well, when I have my shortened, easier to carry BAIII with a full length usable blade because the choil is so small, then we can talk. The BAIII is close to perfect, but its not perfect, yet. We can even call it the BAIV if you like to put a halt to the blasphemy talk.

yes that is why i would like it better than a nmsj cause that would be too long

I'll be interesting to see. I like the holes in meltodown style but I don't like all the edges of the knife rounded. The squared off edges of his knives lead to a more utilitarian look in my opinion.
A 'melted' Game Warden would be cool though.

The BAIII is closer to perfect with a butt grind, gets the handle in better proportion to the blade. The big choil has to go. I see no use on a blade that size. A sharpening choil is all that's needed, like on the AD.

The BA-E was dropped pretty much because of the same size handle and almost the same size blade as the NO-E. A answer to a non existant question.

Price? The BAIII was only $257 IIRC. Have they gone up?;):D

It's the one with Black G10 and sheep horn handles.

I keep thinking I want to sell it, but the more people tell me it doesn't exist the more I want to prove them wrong.

If we got an NMAK with a katana-length blade, hopefully it would have a super long handle too. I love the super long AK handles as they are, but with a longer blade they would also need to stretch in my opinion.
 
I like the NM treatment everywhere except for along the spine for all knives. A rounded spine equates to less contact area for batoning.

I've found though that it doesn't tear up the baton log as much. Also, there's plenty of width when you're talking about .23 up to .27 on the NM FBM.

I agree. No more NM offerings would help increase the value of both the NMFBM and the NMSFNO. Don't give us anymore NM, please!
 
I would love to see a NMHOGFSH myself!!! I think that would be one of the best knives that could ever be...

That would simply destroy an already perfect design,..... .Soooo bad... + you cant even open a beer bottle with the butt b/c of that pointless NM treatment.,.. :thumbdn:
