That's a very wild looking blade Ferret,kinda reminds me of the northern lights.What are the specs. on that puppy?

I really like that design, Dave. What is the coating on that blade? Cool stuff! How about some spec's? Congrat's to you and AZ!:)
 
Thanks. 5" blade, 10.5" OAL, this one is a proto from 3.5mm RWL-34, the next ones will be from 3/16 D2...the high grind need thicker steel.
 
I like it a lot as well. I would also like to see it from a different angle or two. The handle is pretty hard to make out in that picture.
 
Wow, does the knife ever look different from that angle. I like it even more than I thought I did based on the first picture.
 
Is that V-grind Dave? I cant tell from the pics....

Yaaaaawn. Yeah Dav, killer super rad knife, just like all your other ones. Can we have something that sucks just to break up the monotony of all the awsome knives coming from you warped little brain housing?
What is the blade coating?
 
Heh heh, this doesn't exactly suck but it is more trad ;)
The finish is what I call "kaos" finish, as it is a very rough and loose process ie bathe the blade in aqua regia until it begs for mercy then randomly coarse scothbrite the stipes.
Now, to the trad blade...a hunter/skinner with wenge handle slabs...

ps in a moment of weakness I said I'd do the skinner for a friend's dad's birthday @ only $100 sheathed.:eek: :rolleyes: :o :cool:
hint: don't mention a price thinking they aren't going to place an order :D
