Up for sale is a beautiful woman scrimshawed on an elephant ivory poker chip in protective case. This original hand scrimshawed piece is signed by the artist Ron Jr. of Janesville Wisconsin. The chip measures approximately 1 1/2" x 1/8". Buyer can choose to have initials or a short inscription added to the back for no extra charge.

The Method
This entire piece was done by hand using the stipple method. Stippling is a very exacting and time consuming process that consists of poking tens of thousands of little holes into the ivory with a needle or sharp instrument, then you fill the holes with a high quality ink or paint to see the work. If the artist is patient and is good enough photo like quality can be achieved using this method.
A gift box is included with every Ron Jr. Scrimshaw. Electronic Certificate Of Authenticity (COA) is also available upon request.
