Regarding the SFNO/ASH1 question, here is more proof. Both the blade and handle are slightly longer on the SFNO than the ASH1.

Beautiful knives, May be a bit heavy for BC, don't want to cause an earthquake. So send to me in Ontario, safe on the Great Canadian Shield. No salt air to rust 'em either.:cool:

I would respectfully disagree. Wood or any other natural product is going to display different grains and patterns. That randomness, IMHO, is part of the beauty.

Are those USPS packages insured? It won't take much for some line sorter or carrier to figure out, from the sender's address and the weight, that there's something pretty valuable in there. Especially a couple $grand$ worth.
 
Great pix! Man,I really like the wood grips on that SFNO... Looks like it's got tattoos!! Sweet knives, thanxx for sharing. Which one pricked ya?? :confused: :D ...And did it make you smile? LOL :thumbup::thumbup:
 
Thanks Guys,actually the Badger bit me. :) The second Satin ironwood SFNO I got from Knobcreek has gorgeous handles on it as well.
I will post some new pics of it when I can but I have been having trouble this weekend with viewing pictures on bladeforums from my PC here at home.
I think my kids either changed a setting somewhere or downloaded something that has screwed something up.
I have run Spybot, Ad-Aware Win-Defender, AVG but to no avail. I am pulling my hair out. ARGhhhhh!!
