I misremembered those as being in the $900 range. Not $1200+.

Pictured with another Crab Shack choice scales knife, they sure know how to make them extra special.

The handles on this nuked FMV8 look like sweet ceispy caramelized bacon, and the tan G10 its g-rexed with is pretty sweet too.

Crabshack choice scales are definitely my favorite nuke option of O2WP Deux

Thanks, you have that sweet green one, Im happy with all of the G-rexed stacked bone examples, but I do like mine for that sweet tan g10 and the way its colors contrast with my other crabshack blade.

I truly couldnt ask for or imagine a more custom knife than what i got, and I could say that about quite a few of the others.
 
Yours has some stuff I have never seen. The tan micarta or G10 and the liner around the inlay I have never seen before.

Yeah me too.. A lot. And it's worse cause I don't have the money right now to snag one off the exchange, and I don't want to let any of my other Busses go for something as uncertain as that. I'll just have to enjoy my CF one and hope for something really cool on the nuclear FMV14:D

I received a clip point variant of a 2nd gen Steel Heart Ergo with solid tan G10 handles like that, from Grab Bags Round 2. They also seem to be bead-blasted after the machining, and the spine and outer perimeter of the handle appear to be bead blasted as well.
It has a sage coating but I've been curious for a while whether the rest of it has the same BB finish underneath.. o_O but I haven't had the courage to test that yet because the coating/handle combo looks good, and I haven't worn the coating down enough to tell. ETA: old picture used because my camera is out of commission.

If anyone took that bet they lost $50 within 7 minutes of the post. My bad...:p

I keep wishing the Custom Shop would reopen so I could get them to do up a custom blade or two, but I never would have thought to do some of these slabs and they're gorgeous. Glad to have the opportunity to see what the creative minds in the Crab Shack can think up. Thanks to everyone who have shared pics!
