I am almost done with this knife. It is for a guy here in town that wanted a skinner knife. Whatcha think? Man bocote sure is purdy. Its 1/8 ats34 7.5 inches long. The smudges are from the blue tape I had just taken off prior to taking the pic.

It's just my Google Chrome not working with it.

I see it with IE8. It looks really good! I'd probably have made the blade a little thinner (like top to bottom) compared to the handle, but that's my personal preference.

Really nice! And I agree about Bocote too. Basically ideally suited for knife handles.

Looks great, panchO; each one is better than the last! I recently bought some Bocote scales and I'm looking forward to trying them out.

Damn dude, look'n good. Now all you need is a maker's mark.

I've enjoyed watching your progress. I remember the first blade you posted. Care to share it with us in the thread? It would be interesting to compare them side by side.

Take care,
BJ

Sure would, Here it is. Thanks for the compliments guys. I still have this little guy. One of my wife's uncles is from Mexico and he wanted to buy it. He wanted to use it to pick prickly pear from the cactus orchards they own.

I like it. How do you get your plunge line so crisp.

I have two pieces of ats34 clamped on where I want the plunge to be. Once I establish it I take them off and grind the rest of the blade. It comes out pretty rough. Then I clean it out with 120 grit sand paper.

Thanks guys for the kind words.
