I recently acquired a black PE Aqua Salt and it has the number 015V on the side of the blade with the H1. Do all Aqua Salts have a number like that? The seller indicated that it was a collector because of the number, but not being a Spyderco expert, I can't be sure.

Can I get some info on this?

Thanks for the help.

The number is a Collector's Club number. Some dealers have a few numbers to ensure that they will have at least a few of each new knife, even if it is a sold out sprint run. Unless you are trying to collect all the knives with a particular number or you are selling one to someone who is, the CC number really doesn't add any value to the knife.

Thanks, that's what I wanted to hear. I want to go beat this thing. I also hear H1 is scratch prone and that buffing and sharpening will surface harden the steel. Anyone have any experience with that?
