Numero Uno??

My solution is always a non-flipper spydie in RFP and then I might rotate a 2nd knife in LFP. If pocket allows my #1 is a PM2 (don't have a PM3) or else my CF Chapparal at work and other pocket is a mantra2 or techno or something else not too large. At home it is always a Mili in one pocket and a small fixed blade in the other.

Thanks, Paul!^
Al- I hope to hear your report on the Advocate soon.

Ok Rolf, just for you...

I'd call it a Stretch wannabe, except that it's wrong handed, all metal, tip up only, with no 50/50 choil and a silly lump on the blade to help it open accidentally in your pocket. :p

Thanks, Paul!^

I am going to give it one more week of 'break-in', Rolf, and then I'll relate my findings. So far, things are looking good. ;)

My main knife is always a Spyderco, simply because I don't buy anything but Spyderco. I always have a second clipless knife though, these sometimes are my Manbug or Ladybug, but Alot of the time I like to carry a traditional with a sheepsfoot blade. I try and rotate in all of my knives but sometimes that one knife just stays in the pocket until it needs some sort of maintaining, then I switch to something else.

Thanks, Cryo. ^
Are you a fan of the Hole or the quality or just Spyderco in general?
rolf

No, but it happened the other way around. Bought a ZT 0566CF for EDC and then bought a Paramilitary 2, now the ZT sits in a drawer all day. The only time I will ever carry something other than my Paramilitary 2 is when I'm somewhere where there is a lake/beach/humid area, and then I will carry the Pacific Salt H1 or another H1 Spyderco but that will be replaced with the Caribbean when it comes out. Can't wait for it! I've never been this excited for a knife in a while than I have been for the Caribbean.

Thanks, Cryo. ^

They just tend to have the features I like. I'm a huge fan of the hole, don't much care for thumb studs. They usually have a thumb ramp, and typically a choil. But besides this they are one of the few that use high quality steels and materials without the tremendous price tag that tends to come with it.

I have gave away all my other brands of knives besides one, the blade hq carbon fiber kershaw skyline in S30v, just because I like the skyline. Other then that it's all spyderco, they just do everything right and make such great looking pieces.

I have one of Ray Laconicos first folders. Absolutely the highest quality folder I own. And yet, the Enduras, Stretches, Militarys, Paras, etc keep jumping in ahead of it.

Yup and yep!^
I want to say I'm surprised but Spyderco has a perfect knife formula that keeps evolving. Hard to beat.
rolf

Yes, this happens to me quite a bit. I'm finding it harder to use a knife without the hole and the thumb ramp. Such great and useful features!

My brown VG10 Delica 4 has been in my pocket since I got it in October 2014. I still look at other folders and sometimes consider buying one but then I realise that the Delica serves me just fine. Maybe I should carry my Superblue one for a bit of a change.. hmm.

My current collection is at least 4-1 in favor of Spyderco (75% or more). Even if I carry something else, I always have a Manix2 LW or DF2 on me or close by. There's been a recent resurgence of my ZT0560BW finding it's way into my pockets, but the Sage5 has been the big surprise. It's really gotten way more pocket time than I would've anticipated, and again today forced its way into my pocket over a new purchase.

Thanks, Gents!
It's hard to beat a good formula!!
Thanks, Sal and Gang.

Others come and go, but Cold Steel, SAKs and Spyderco are lifetime blades, always there

All set, Peacent.^
I do like my Sodbuster and K55K traditionals. They work.
I do have "another" folder coming soon. I'll see if she kicks my Lil Temp out of my pocket.

I always have a dragonfly on me. Sometimes with another Spyderco, sometimes with something else. Even my wife (who doesn't care about knives) carries a dragonfly in her purse along with a classic victorinox and slip n snip scissors. And when i laid out all my knife collection for my 4 yr old daughter, she picked a dragonfly as well for her favorite :)
My collection is about 80% Spyderco right now.

Cool.^
I need to try one.
My buddy just recently showed me his folder that gets used the most but he said don't tell anyone. Dragonfly.
He's a manly-man. :D
