Nutnfancy talks with CASE at SHOTSHOW

I really liked seeing all the case knives and hearing some of the history and stuff, but man does he like to talk.

....must...not...infract...

for mentioning that name here. He gives me indigestion. No way am I clicking that link.

its only 44 minutes, and yes i actually listened to the whole thing
hehe, its been that kinda night ;)

I ride a bike everywhere. I've read that riding a bike is the most dangerous way to commute. I believe that. I've been hit a couple times. Once was my fault, once wasn't. I've been nearly hit many time, almost always not my fault. There may come a day that I get hit, and am injured so badly that I'm stuck in a body cast, lying in bed for a few months, with nothing to do watch overly long boring videos on the internet.

Maybe then I'll watch that video. But I'd rather watch this several hundreds of time.

I should explain that I'm not a hardcore TNPer. I check him out mostly for blade reviews and I just thought it was cool that he was giving Case their props.

cool vid, a bit of enthusiastic surfer dude fluff!
wouldve been better if he'd have let the cute case historian and the other case guy talk more :D
hopefully my wife doesnt read this:cool:

I watched it last night, ie had it on the side of the monitor while I did other things. Like him or not, he does seem to drum up business for things he reviews favorably so good for Case.

Not to worry, Nathan, we're just giving you a hard time. I think we can all agree that giving Case more exposure is a good thing.

I just realized what a lucky guy I am. My local B&M store looks pretty much as good as the Case booth at SHOT. :) Man, I love that place.
I'm biting my tongue with regards to Nutnfancy.

I seem to be lacking backstory, and thus missing the joke.

(Any pointers to other threads welcome.)

If you do a search for "Nutnfancy" on YouTube, you'll find more backstory than you could ever want. Basically, he's an internet reviewer guy that really likes the sound of his own voice. He likes to go on, and on, and on, and on...... I have nothing against the guy, he's just a bit long winded.
He's known mostly for doing tacticool stuff, so it's interesting that he's doing something on traditional knives for a change.

Nutnfancy has over 150,000 subscribers, and all of them are exactly the people who need to check out Case. The video already has over 12,000 views.

I would have liked to have seen more patterns in the review, but I don't think he is quite that "into it." He did a lot of talking about the patterns with locks and pocket clips!!!!:eek::eek:

Either way, it is Case marketing for the new generation of knife nut, and it is coming from someone that they listen to.

PS- Seems like he is a Canoe pattern guy.:D

I was pretty surprised to see that video too. Case knives seem to be the complete opposite of what Nutnfancy likes in a knife. Most ,including the canoe which he seemed to like a lot, have no lock, no pocket clip, natural handle materials, and aren't one hand "deploying". They are U.S.A. made though which seems to be a major factor in him liking them. Either way he did like them and that's gotta be good for Case. He didn't even mention the Tec X line either which is the first thing I thought of when I saw that video, that's probably for the best as well.

As for him talking a lot I actually thought he let the Case people talk quite a bit, for one of his videos at least.
