Nope...Ig said:Vincent, have you checked runtime of S1801?
I've seen that "6hours" claim too, but Q-III packageUnknownVT The S1801 specs at GoldenGadgets.com[/URL said:claim 6hours - I suspect it probably is somewhere between that and half? say 4.5 hours? depending on the CR123 (which are not created equal - I think Sanyo are the leaders)
Sorry, which light are you talking about?Ig said:I've seen that "6hours" claim too, but Q-III package
says 75 lumens and I can see something like 25...
OK......Ig said:I tried to say that claimed 6 hours runtime of S1801 can be close to truth like claimed brightness of QIII.
Hope this time I've succeeded to say that better.![]()

I broke down and ordered one, anyway. My friend's convinced me, along with the fact that you can get glass lenses for it now. It's pulls close to an amp off the R123, and is probably getting 800+/-mA to the emitter. I've got an extra TYOK that's going in there.OwenM said:I don't like the switch, either. That's why I don't have one. The one in my pics is my best friend's. I may still get one, though. Throw a T-bin, and a R123 in there, and you've got a serious light for very little money.
