NWA design for the forum knife #2. What do you think?

Now, I could just blend the plunge line in without the choil, but there would be a portion of the edge that would not be sharp and I think that would look really wierd. Nick:)

Can you explain that?

For instance these knives have the edge to the plunge and the area by the plunge seems wicked sharp:

If the plunge was rounded, then there would be a large flat area. That has a sharp plunge line.

Although the choil takes away precious edge space, I think it looks better and still remains very functional.

I know there is still a long line for the first knife, but when might we see these made?

Hey guys, I'm going to start a new thread for the passaround to keep better track of it. I'll post the names listed here in order on the new thread.

Nick, (oops TKNIFE)
New thread here or in K&F Passaround forum? I don't want to miss out. My Sportsman was close enough to the W&SS that I held off but this little knife will be a perfect companion to the bigger brother with a little more tip for carving than my skinners!

Like the way you do O1! :)

Not really feeling this one- too much like the first knife. I am not knocking it- I am sure that it will perform very well but I am all about diversity and this is too much like what I have already, and not a fan of the choil.

Enjoy it guys!!

I missed out on the first one, and could've still ordered it if I was willing to wait, but I wanted to see what the second knife would be. I'm going to be really happy if it stays the way it is, looks like it will make an awesome EDC.

I can't wait to get it for the passaround. If we like it, would it be possible to order it?

T knife, I think that looks like a great knife, but it doesnt grab my attention like the first one did...maybe its the size...I don't usually carry a 2 or 3 inch blade to support my 4 or 5 inch blade, as they are pretty small to begin with. I never bought one of the first batch, but I liked them enough to, things just didnt work out for me on those....IF I did have one, I would be looking for a Camp knife to go with it...something in the 7 inch and up range. Now that would be cool. JMO.

I orderd one myself and now drewling to see it...I can wait though, patients is a virtue...Just reading all this stuff has me on a knife craze...My little collection is growing fast....

Nick just sent me pics of the sheath and I think it suits this little knife perfectly. If you own any of his knives, you know that his leather sheath is super tough and locks the knife in like Kydex.

pretty cool.... is it just held in there with the pressure from the leather...

it would be cool, if there was also some way to attach it to a belt... maybe to rivets on the top too....

Ask and ye shall receive :D He also said there is a belt loop on the back. So there are a couple ways to carry it

Same here. Around my neck is cool for around camp and stuff, but when I'm hiking I'd wear it on my belt, in my pocket or on my pack strap.
