I have a brand new and never used NWA Sierra Scout that was one of the 2007 Bladeforums forum knives. I bought this and have never ended up using it. It is an amazing knife and I held onto it for years but just have not had the need to use it.
Knife was stored out of the sheath for the majority of the time I have had it but was stored in the sheath for a little bit causing the micarta scales in some spots to have taken on some of the wax from the sheath and accounts for the darker looking spots. There is also a tiny bit of discoloration on the tang between the scales. As I mentioned never used the knife except for holding in my hand so must have been from skin oils on carbon steel.
