Hi Guys, here is my last knife for the NY show. It's all Ari's fault I had to make this one ;)
13'' blade, damascus-W2,1060,1020 with hamon, damascus guard, mammoth ivory handle, 18 1/2'' over all. OK you bowie freaks is this one long enough :D Let me know what ya think. I hope to see some of you good folks at the show this weekend.

Yes, I'm definitely going to have to kill you... :mad: :eek: ;) :)

If it doesn't sell for some odd reason, like It's too big, which of course we as guys know is never true... Let me know, maybe I can sell my car, child, etc...
 
Don - that is spectacular. It's not easy to make a knife that big look as slick as this one does - really terrific lines. I also really like the damascus you chose for guard - a perfect complement to the blade and handle. Terrific bowie!

Too late. Been there, done that. ;) :D

One thing I haven't taken a liking to is a hamon on a damascus blade.
 
Overall it's awesome, but I agree with Danbo...I'd like it better without the hamon on the damascus and yes Danbo I do like Damascus ;)
 
You guys are nuts! I LOVE the hamon on the damascus, hey, if Fisk does them on his damascus Senderos, it's good enough for me (and Don...) :)

Maybe I shouldn't speak for Don, I know he's his own fish... :)

If I had any more $$$, I'd be all over this one (too) :)
 
Thanks everyone for your comments, you guys have really turned me into a bowie freak ;) Well I'm off to the Airport with Hank Knickmeyer and Al Dipold, should be an interesting trip. I'll be back Monday.

Damn that's an awesome knife. I am really impressed with the pic showing the blade close-up, the edge looks perfect. Great to see the it is as well done as everything else.
 
truly a great knife that isn't too large. Reminds me of crocodille dundee show; "now this is a knife". Good job to say the least.
