Nyala from Chris Reeve Discontinued?

It makes sense now. The gap is uniform as if there is something there like the tape you mentioned.

I ended up buying 2 more drop points when I heard they were discontinued. One with Tan and one with Black Micarta scales. I already have a tan drop point and Insingo that I use for hunting. Always wanted a black one. I almost waited too late...lol. Didn’t really need them now, but also didn’t wanna pay $500 down the road if and when I wanted another.

I called a few weeks back and confirmed that only a few more orders were left to be filled. I grabbed two more asap. They can be sold later no problem, but I don't want to be stuck looking. I've carried one all the time when not working. I work in the education field so they frown on fixed blades.

They can still be found at a couple of the authorized dealers websites. I checked a few days ago because I was considering buying another one. Slim pickings, though, so don’t wait too long.... ;)

Any idea how thick that stuff is? How does it effect cutting performance and/or drag?

I have to admit, I kick myself regularly for not heeding the earlier warnings and picking up a satin drop point when they were still available
 
Why did they discontinue in the first place? I missed the reading on it.

I don’t understand with such high demand. Or seemingly high demand. But, I felt like it was getting more and more difficult to even find one that wasn’t sold out anywhere. Then boom- discontinued.
 
Just picked up a black Insingo. This was the combo I was looking for and it was still around after the drop point was gone.

Like a few others I wanted a black drop point stonewash when they were at dealers and never pulled the trigger but today I did with KG gun kote, can't wait for my mail call :D
 
Natural Insingo for me as well (since that was all that was left...)
