Just got a call this afternoon from Heather.
She is shipping my Nyala tomorrow. It is only a five hour drive from where I live to Boise so I am thinking I will have it in my hands by the weekend. :thumbup:
 
That is a real stunner. I hope Nordic gets one, I would really like to see one in person.
 
man I wish I was that close...and dang you beat me to it......sigh oh well.....mine will be a slight bit different...stay tuned....hopefully

Rick, post some pics when you get it...I'm very curious what the sheath looks like. In CRK fashion though, I'm sure it'll complement the knife.

Make sure you take a picture before you cut yourself messing w/ the knife. :D
 
I think/hope it's ok to mention that there's a thread in the dealer forum as of last night announcing availability of this knife.
 
SWEEETTTTT!!!! Just ordered my Nyala from Knifecenter, along with a bunch of other stuff.

I have already threatened my wife with ordering a whole mess of these and making them steak knives. She wasn't amused.

I got an order in as well. I am looking forward to seeing this - it looks beautiful. I've been using an S35VN Spyderco Mule and it's been a really great steel. I don't know if/how much the Rc differs. CRK seems to like to run blades softer. The great looks, great steel and a great blade profile with CRK quality was irresistable. :D

Funny you should mention steak knives. I had the same idea but didn't try it out on my wife. :D

BTW/FWIW, just checked their website - now showing out of stock.
 
Hmmmm.....they pulled it off their home page also. I wonder if I got the last one? Guess I'll know on Monday when they process the order.

Re the steak knife idea, I was looking at CRK as well as some Busse knives for this idea. I'll see how the availability becomes in the near future for CRK, and maybe get at least one more so me and the wife each have one. Guess I shouldn't give her this as a birthday, Mothers day, or anniversary gift.

The waiting begins....
