A cheap knife like that is more dangerous to the user than it would be to any assailant. Just think what will happen when, not if, but when, that flimsy lock fails and the blade closes on the user's fingers! The local ER will be getting a new patient with serious injuries. Anybody who is that stupid deserves what they get. Probably the reason why they give that junk back is because no sane person would want it.
