HOLY CR@9!!

Coop, you are THE man.. Joe's tomahawks look amazing, Don Hanson's skull patterned mosaic is WHOA, I gotta go back and have another look-see

Wonderful photos Jim (as always!)

Just spent the afternoon chatting, drinking an Irish, and designing knives with the gent who forged Lourens Prinsloo's rather special damascus steel, namely Ettore Gianferrari. A supremely talented man, member of the SA Guild and Italian Guild who is currently having more fun forging steel than making knives.

Keep up the good work!

Sick, man.....just SICK!!!:D Don H. and Joe S. outdid themselves again. I also like that bowie from Jay Hendrickson. A bit different look in the handle. Now I am a metal pounding fixed blade guy, but that Prinsloo automatic is cool and the little single bladed Ruple slippie just makes my mouth water:thumbup: Great work as usual, Mr. Cooper.

Hi Hilton,

Lourens and I discussed that upper inset. I wanted to show how nicely he fits the thumbstud into the bolster when closed (Which he did), but a closeup of this INCREDIBLE damascus was an even better shot.

WOW!!!

Joe, thanks. This Prinsloo folder is not an auto. Just a fine button to close the linerlock. Cool!

Bill Ruple was going to consider two single views, but I convinced him two knives shown WITH his filework was even better at less money. How's that?? ;)

Coop

These are beautiful, Coop. I especially love the "Two Brothers" (twin hawks by Joe S.) image (specifically composition, shading and color).

All extremely nice of course as are the photos, however both Hendrickson's are exquisite.

The knife/sheath combination of the smaller knife is a real work of art.

Great photos as usual Coop. Nice that you were there so we can see all those great knives. Wonderful folders but I'm with Kevin -- Absolutely AWESOME knives by Jay.

A pleasure to see those pictures Coop. Stunning as usual. The close-up of the damascus is amazing. Both the picture and subject.

Thanks,
Peter

Thanks, Butch. Glad you enjoy them as well. And those that you picked are a BIG departure from your fine work. You enjoy it all, don't you! :D

OK, let's get it on...!

Jerry Hossom goodness:

Superb engraving by Simon Lytton:

Another REALLY fine one by Jay Hendrickson:

Look CLOSELY at Cliff Parker's bolster for a chuckle....

WD Pease alone made it a solid 30 years to the NYCKS. Here is what he brought to celebrate his anniversary:

Lastly, Daniel Stephan shows how versatile his carving is on this small folder:

That's it from my NYCKS Show. I know you will enjoy these, and they cover a very diverse range of photographic and knifemaking styles.

Coop

Once again, masterfully done, Coop. Thanks for sharing the great work from the show with yours!
