I'm planning on being there, and I see the list of exhibitors, but who from here will be attending?

This will be the first time I've attended this show, any tips?

i'll be there! and i'm glad you started a discussion. for those of you who have been, is everything good going to be sold out by the time i get there at noon on Saturday? Burger posted these beauties, and i'm guessing i won't have a shot at one as these are in hyper high demand. but what about the other stuff? Zieba, Pena, Thorburn, JDV, Burger, Prinsloo, all on my list

*anyone know if the exhibitors take credit card?

Great questions. I'm planning on being there first thing on Friday and staying as long as it makes sense for me. Hoping to meet some folks I've admired for a long time and come home with some new stuff.

I'm going on Saturday! I'm more of a production guy, so I'll be sticking more to the big names like Emerson and Hinderer... anyone know if knives aren't allowed to be carried? I know some gun shows won't allow guns to be carried and I sort of want to bring something cool (Probably my reground Commander).

Careful with what you carry.

In NJ it is up to the Officer if your reason for carrying a knife is a good enough one, since it is up to his discretion. NY has tougher knife laws, as most on here know.

That being said, I haven't been hassled having a large 21 sebenza or ZT 770cfM4 paired with a CPK EDC on me daily.

I will be attempting to make it, and since I am on vacation that week, I should be able to.
I just have some slabs and two sheaths to finish up. I may even have a new Busse to barter with/offload.

That's a bummer. I'm lucky I was able to go twice at least while it was in New England. Have fun. Can't wait to see some pictures.

According to KnifeRights, NJ is one of the worst States for knives. A knife show?
Wow.

yup, but marginally better than new york city! it'll be an adventure getting any knives i purchase through the path back home.

no one's answered my question! do the exhibitors at the show take anything other than cash? (e.g., paypal or credit card)

I can't speak specifically for the show, but most show vendors are set up with a card reader on a smart phone now. For those who don't, most hotel convention centers have ATM's.

Just putting this out there.

If anyone that is going, also happens to have a CRK Ti-Lock, I would be eternally grateful if I could give it a once over.
I think I would love the knife, but I have no means of handling one.

Maybe the CRK booth will have one, but I don't know for sure...

I was wondering if it is easier to just ship knives you buy home rather than try and take them out and pack them home in checked luggage. I go to NYC often, but never carry a knife with me at all. I would love to bring at least one with me, but I'm scared I'll get tackled by a cop. I'm staying in NYC near the WTC and Ubering into the show.

I'll be attending. This is my first time attending this show. I have heard from others that there are a lot of "beep beep" lotteries at this particular show.

Keep your knife buried in your pocket or in your bag.
Non-visable = Nothing to suspect.

As far as buying there, shipping home would be a smart idea. Though if you would prefer to use a small flat rate "cube" box, yup will have to bring that with you. I do not know of one post office that carries the "Cube" small box.

I'll be there Friday. Figured I might as well do VIP and get there early and a chance at the grand prize. I googled the beep beep lottery and still not clear.

I’ll be there all Friday and Saturday with the rest of the KnifeNuts and John Gray crew. See you there!
