Nycks

Phill: Joe Szilaski will be presenting our new DVD at the show, please stop by and meet the man who made it all possible, Jeremey, a good hand also from New York city.

Ed, I wouldn't miss it.

BTW, Ed is one of the friends that I made at the 1998 show.

ThreeWorlds, I hope you understand that there is no possible way that you can get a "No" for an answer, if you ask any guy in the building.

Yes, I know, which is why I was hoping I'd have a better sort of sign? Oh well, so much for that :p :jerkit:

If you see a fat little guy with a big cane, that's me, a smiling guy waving a stag-handled knife, that's PhilL, and a leather hat walking around by itself, that's Ebbtide. :D

Bummer Ed, how the heck did you bust up your knee overnight?
Ya think your wife would have noticed the cane and take it a little easy on you.

You will be missed.

I hope Ken will be bringing the Manshevitz.

Oh, I'll be there earlier than expected. I should be there when the doors open.

i missed the show
i couldn't go
i busted up my knee

my friends bought all the knives i like
and i'm too sore to take a hike
to see what's left for me

if anyone would care to share
a pic of what they purchased there
i'd really like to see

MAYBE TOMORROW !!!

That sucks man. You can't make it any of the days?
Dose up on painkillers and jog on over! :D
Kidding aside, is there something you want someone to pickup for you?

This will be my first knife show as well. It's unfortunate that Spyderco pulled out of the NY shows, but I'm sure I'll find other pieces to drool over... well, not directly over. Plus it looks like Ceya will be there, and he's like a Spydie factory all by himself.

PhilL, G3, we met at Mastersmith's a couple of months ago. It will be good to see you guys again.

- Bob

Day one done,
I didn't buy one,
None, none, none,
No Ed no fun.

Get better big guy.
Maybe Ken can carry you around...he's young and strong :D

I just got back from about 40 minutes strolling around outside. I hope I can make it tomorrow. The knee is sore and stiff but it's not swollen and the rest of the leg is fine.

Hey, I'm getting good at this cripple act.

I'm cutting class to attend this show, NO WAY will I miss it. I'll miss the March one, but I'll be the fat asian kid with glasses in a faded M65 camo field jacket with a backpack that has a worn in ParaMilitary in his front left pocket

Thanks for the descript. It will be easier for the truancy officers to spot you. :D Hey, I still want to see that Marathon composite you got... ;)

We do need images...please...:)

Wow, that was really fun! I met Nakano, Ebbtide, and Phil L, and I'm much obliged to everyone who showed me around. I couldn't make it to the last day of the show, but I really liked my 2 days there .... (some great pieces in the slipjoint department) ... more later, maybe, but right now I am tuckered out.

No pics, sorry.

ThreeWorlds, it was nice meeting you also. I'm glad you enjoyed your first show, sorry I couldn't introduce you to Ernie Emerson.

G3, sorry no pics from me either.

3W, thanks for the pleasant conversations. I' m glad you had fun at your first show. Bob Dozier agrees. :)

I was only there for a sprint around the tables to glad-hand and see familiar faces. I saw LaBella and PhilL and TonyCCW and... others???? .

Three Worlds, I KNOW I bumped into you at a table. You are hard to miss. :D Wish I saw this thread before I went.

That was fun!
