Nylon Questions, Concepts, Dreams, Ideas and What Do You All Want????

I've really wanted a small pouch that sits VERY flat on the belt around 2x4" and about an inch thick, maybe with tapered edges to read less under a un-tucked shirt. I'd like to be able to mount a Becker Necker, EESE Izula or similar behind the belt pouch horizontally. Figured that leave room for some water tabs, fire steel, tinder, emergency blanket, a bic, small fishing kit, some kind of water bag and a few other odds and ends.

Something like that I could keep on 7 days a week, grab a water bottle and hit the woods at a moments notice.
 
I'd like to see a pouch that fits over a Sierra cup to hold a fire steel, tea, tinder, ect while the cup hangs on my belt. Who would want an Altoids tin over a contained kit based on a Sierra cup? That and a knife would be an ultralight setup.
 
A poncho. I just paid $85 for one from Warmlite:grumpy:
I'd like some for my guests, but at that price they can just stay wet.
PVC ponchos suck.

this is pretty close to what I envisioned- it might have to be a wee bit wider as I'd want to fit a one person heatsheet, 2.5-2.75" should do it


^ the sierra cup idea is a good one too :)

I have been looking for a low-profile belt pouch that holds an altoids tin horizontally on the belt and not finding anything. I see many out there that would fit it, but that are TOO thick, etc. I personally need a pouch like that to wear at work and other such places; less for the outdoors more for the EDC use, but not something on the market now as far as I can tell.


I've got the Imperial S-7 floating around somewhere and agree that the 2-pouch setup is novel; just not well put together, IMO

EDIT: that picture posted of the sheath looks like a nicer version than what I've got on my knife.

Take a look at the P.C.C. Case from countycomm. The small is 3"LX1.8"H and the large is 4.5"LX3"H. Excellent for carrying a small item like an Altoids kit, small digital camera, or Heat Sheet on your belt or attached to another pack/pouch.
