Nylon sheaths

Does anyone know what the nylon pouches from SOG are like?

I hate the leather sheath, as the button has already come off (after literally 2 days) and want to get a better pouch.

What should I get to house my powerlock?

Snappy, sorry about the button, that surprises me, I have heard of several people carrying them for several years without any problems. But I guess there is a bad apple in every bunch occasionally, just sorry it had to be yours.
You really should contact SOG and tell them about this, I just bet they would fix this problem in a jiffy, they may even send you a new sheath, or a nylon, their nylon sheaths seem to made very well. It would not hurt to call and see. It is under warranty so try this and see what happens.

Does SOG have nylon sheaths for most of their products? Have not seen much info about them on the web site.

Snappy, sorry, I did not realize where you were located, my next advice is to email them at, warranty@sogknives.com , explain your problem, advise them your location, I am sure they will try to help.

Ancient Mariner, I know they have several nylon sheaths, you need to contact, info@sogknives.com , ask them specifically about the tool or knife you need a sheath for and they will be able to tell you if they have one to fit your needs, hope this helps.
