Just seeing what's it there. This is a very cool, very interesting knife, just not for me so catch and release. Looks like a perfect specimen to me, centered blade, solid, nice action. Comes in the box with all the EMPEDC stickers. Will add cash for the right higher end piece. PM2 for size reference.

Is the name of the knife "Nymble" in regard to the nursery rhyme or has the same meaning as Nimble - Jack was Nimble Jack was Quick ~ Jack jumped over the Candlestick ~

The nursery rhyme Jack be Nimble refers to an English privateer (later pirate) named Black Jack Smatt. Black Jack lived on Jamaica, in Port Royal, which during the Golden Age of Piracy was known as “The Wickedest City on Earth.”. Black Jack was one of the most famous pirates of the Caribbean, particularly for the reason of being notoriously smart (and quick and nimble) to escape from authorities, who in his
later pirate years wanted to capture and hang him. ~ Just Curious ~

I'm unsure about the relationship to the nursery rhyme, but that's a good observation. Uneducated guess - the Nymble (original smaller knife) and this Nymble X are named this because they offer all 4 opening methods - traditional and reverse thumbhole, traditional rear flipper and front flipper, plus the ergonomics. Could be wrong, would have to look up EMPEDC's marketing. But, thanks for the input - this is a knife a pirate would love just as much as an everyday Joe - "EMP" stands for "Every Man's Pocket".
