Thanks again Redjohn, I hope you like the color of handle I chose for this one. If not, I can make another, with a color that suits you better. I will say this though, the handle pictured does'nt show all the detail of the bone colored corian. There is a really nise swirl pattern in the material.
Done deal, Care for the knife just as you would for a blued gun. If it gets wet dry it within a reasonable amount of time and re oil the blade weather it be gun oil of vegetable oil. One nice thing about the bees wax treated sheath it really does a great job of protecting a non-stainless knife from corrosion, because the leather can not absorb any moisture as it is saturated with bees wax.
Thanks Synghyn, I get my corian at a place here locally, the guy sells me kitchen and bath sink cutouts. I never know what he is going to have in stock I just pick out whatever I like and pay acordingly. Try to find a counter top fabricator in your area and I'm sure he would sell you sink cutouts.
My knife arrived at my door about 30min. ago. I spent about 20min. looking for a flaw. This knife is as near flawless as any I've ever seen and I studied it close. It's nice in this day and age to see true craftmanship. This knife fills my hand great. The balance is such that I could see myself skinning large game without becoming excessively wrist weary. The blade itself is extremely sharp. Thank you Nick, this one's a keeper.
