Nick,

Another fine looking knife.

BTW, this past weekend I used the one you made for me to cut up a trout for my son... his first. Didn't have a fillet knife w/me, but did have the one you made me and it cut that fish up just fine. ;)

However buys this knife will not be dissapointed.

Eric

Thats great news Eric, I'm really glad you had a chance to use your knife. Thats pretty cool it worked well on your sons trout.

Thanks
Nick

Wow, that's a nice knife. The blade length and total length are just right for every day carry.
A real value to boot!

Thanks for the positive feed back guys. I will be posting another one of these in about a week.

Thanks again
Nick

I guess this is about as good a place as any to ask, how thick is the handle?

Because the handle is rounded It's hard to tell from the pictures.
I tried looking at some previous posts, but the attached photos were lost with the server crash.

A Japanese cord wrap would look really cool on these knives.

Thanks Dino, The slabs each measure at the thickest point ( which is in the middle) .300" So you will have .600" + .1875 for the steel thickness.

Hope this helps

It's a cool looking knife, at a remarkable price. Eventually I'm going to be looking for you to make something for me. I like your temper lines and blade shapes.

Nick

Got the knife in.

I really thought it would be larger but after looking it over I think it is the perfect size. It fits into my back pocket just right. Very pleased.

I'm glad it's going to work out for you. Let me know how it performs for ya.

Thanks
Nick:)
