Hey guys,
This is a new profile for me that I'm excited to be offering here today. (Just in time for hunting season!) It's a trailing point styled O-1 tool steel skinner that I outfitted with some really cool striped Cocobolo. The bolsters are African Blackwood and the liners are black and orange G10. The pins are black micarta and the lanyard tube is carbon fiber. The blade is acid washed in Ferric Chloride for a rustic look. The sheath is hand tooled leather.
Specs:
OAL: 8.5"
Blade length: 3.5" FFG trailing point with distal taper
Steel: 0.156" O-1 tool steel from Aldo, heat treated by Peter's HT to RC60. The tang has been skeletonized for weight reduction.
Handle: 5" long. Striped Cocobolo with African Blackwood bolsters, micarta pins, G10 liners and carbon fiber lanyard tube.
Sheath: Hand tooled leather with strap
$175 Shipped CONUS, paypal, check or money order accepted. International buyers welcome, shipping extra.

Thanks for looking and happy hunting!

Wow, that's neat! The carbon fiber pins tie in with the bolsters so well, very nice!
