I love this design. Very simple, and very functional. Nice and thin, too! .100" O-7 tool steel (1.2519), full flat ground, and Claro Walnut burl. A 30° inclusive edge, 2K grit, .010" at the shoulder. I should have wiped the blade down a bit better before snapping the photos. It's bun full on sun here the past few days, I really need my cloud cover to get half way decent shots, and learn how to photo indoors too! (Matt if you see this...thanks for the SD card with the instructional videos)

Nice design, Stu, I love the feel of a hunter that is slender right behind the guard.

I've been beating the snot out of mine, Stuart, and it's still going strong. The Claro on that piece is beautiful. Can't believe I'm going to say this, but I think I'm being drawn to woods with more tones and less figure...

No worries on the SD card, but you're obviously investigating its contents backwards... Should be listening to all the Queens of the Stone Age that was on there.

That looks to be similar to the geometry on the one I ordered from you, but this one is full flat ground to the spine, correct?

...I've got several deer eating the lilies in my yard right now. Damn 'discharge of firearms' laws. No defense for pretty flowers, I guess. :D

Exactly, Matt. I intended to do the same grind on this one. But the O-7 stock was just a little too thin to pull off a nice sharp crisp grind line that high with my measly skills.
