Thought I'd see if there is any interest out there. There isn't goign to be an O.I.N.K. table at the show but I thought it was great having so many personal collection pieces in one place two years ago.

We obviously can't flood the Busse booth with our own blades so how many people would be up for a small gathering for a show & tell session? Same strict rules would apply that were used for the table, no selling/trading...just the opportunity to handle blades you've only seen on the internet.

This will only work if people are willing to bring their own blades to Atlanta or else we'll be sitting around looking at invisible knives, lol

Who knows, if there is enough interest maybe we can get Jerry to join and bring some of his personal stuff. The ones he brought last time kicked butt.

I imagine something late night would be best after all the festivities are over. Post here if you would be interested, then we'll see if its worth moving forward.

I'm in for a gathering! I'll bring about five bottles of JWB and we can shoot at them during intermission!:eek:

I'm in, if Kim will loan me a knife or two to bring.

By the way, since I'm only a two hour drive away from Blade, if any of you hogs are flying and don't want to trust your Blades to the airlines and TSA, just ship them to me and I'll be glad to haul them over. I'll ship them back to you, er, eventually.
 
Looks like we have a little bit of interest.

Now lets get an idea of how many knives people might want to bring. Before you decide to bring your whole collection please remember to estimate shipping costs both ways. If each person can bring just a few we would probably end up with a nice assortment. Since the whole intention is to see knives we normally would not be able to at shows the focus is towards customs and lower quantity production pieces. That being said, theres no such thing as a bad Busse blade :)

I'll start off..If this happens I'll put in for 5-6 Blades. All would be one of a kind pieces. Could also bring some Off Duties but I don't know if there would be any interest?

Doesn't look like this is going to happen boys and girls. Plenty of interest to attend, but there wouldn't be enough knives coming to the show with people to make it worth everyone's time.

Oh well, it was worth a try :)
 
Well... I can bring a DC Uncle Mofo, Arctic Mistress and A used Custom PD if that helps.. :confused: And a holy tearer
