O.J. Simpson on Swiss Army Knives

Ok yeah, not that kind of cool.
Just thought it was interesting.

Just to play bad -taste Devil's advocate. What if that book titled, WHAT IF I DIDN'T DO IT what if he really hadn't done it 13 years ago??? Just for the sake of argument. A ferinstance.

...fast forward to today.

Ferinstance, if the whole murderous rage thing were happening with Orethal James nowadays, what knife do you think would he use?

Sebenza? Griptillian? Busse? William Henry???

Enquiring minds want to know.:barf:

There was a television 'news' show that investigated the type of knife used in the murders. They concluded that it was a SAK and the murderer had used multiple blades, including the standard spear-point blade and the saw tool. There were scratches on the victims that matched up to the saw teeth spacing.

Here's a 1991 NY Times business article announcing OJ Simpson joining the BOD at Forschner. If anyone is interested...

i've never heard anyone say the murders were by a SAK, and i watched something on A&E a week or so ago, they said, IIRC , it was a 4" blade and showed a pic of a stilletto looking knife.

i cant remember anyone whos fallen as far and fast as OJ, i was watching the tape i have of IIRC super bowl 30, cowboys vs bills, was ~ '95, at the beginning of the show (NBC sports) OJ and mike ditka were playing madden football against one/another, i just thought "wow".

this one bud of mine, we were watching the NBA championship series on NBC when OJ was running from the LAPD in the bronco, they put the game in the upper right hand corner of the screen, while the rest showed the bronco chase and the NBC guys were pleading for OJ to pull over, give himself up, not kill himself/etc,(like he mighta been watching the game lol) i was like "wow check this out, unbeleivable", talk about drama, my friend larry said "i wish they'd put the game back on" i was like "man 20 yrs from now ya will remember this and wont even remember who was playing" (it was the rockets vs somebody) but anyway just shows ya different strokes for different folks lol.

The Rockets vs. the Knicks. The Rockets won the series/championship.

My friend and I were so pissed they interrupted the game just to show a lame car chase...neither of us being fans of NASCAR, mind you

That would have been either 27 ('93) or 28 ('94), but I can't bring myself to re-watch either of them.

Yeah, I must agree. Nothing makes me sicker than seeing a guilty guy walk just because he can afford a $10,000 a day mouthpiece.

Just goes to show - what goes around, comes around.

I hope he enjoys his next 15 years in max.

Looks like OJ will be going to the "Big House" over the fracas in Vegas where he gathered a posse and raided(?) robbed(?) confronted(?) the sports dealer. ....OOPS

It's to bad the guys he tried to rob didn't have bowies at hand. They could have got some steel into those jerks. In close quarters a bowie is devestating. I know that armed people coming into my house would not be leaving in one piece. Even if I got hurt or killed, I would try to ruin them, and their day. A Camillus OVB Fisk Bowie would sure hoit!

Cut yourself a slice of throat.===Curly Howard

Just wacking someone with the back of the Fisk Bowie would hurt, hitting them with the blade, why thats another matter entirerly.

well, i dont know what ya can do if someone has a gun on ya, with a knife, unless ya are mike echanis or someone like that, and simpsons "posse" had at least a couple of pistols.

agree it woulda sucked, but they probably did the right thing, and they immediately started looking for who wanted to pay the most $$ for the "story" lol, and OJ ends up in prison for possibly life, its all good.

OJ was nutz to do that, imho after getting off the murder charges he thought himself bullet proof, not.

Yeah, your right. I just get a little fired up with things like that. When I was young I used to fight pretty frequently, but I learned my lesson. All it gets you is trouble. But I sure got alot of memories of some pretty wild nights.

People like Ford or Kissinger (or Cheney and Bush and Clinton, etc) are on boards for their connections as well as for the opportunity to have their pictures taken with them. (Its not whatcha know, but who you know ;) )

Overall yes, though really who thinks someone Ford or Kissinger has any contacts at this point? Unless Kissinger can conduct a seance to contact Sadat or Nixon, at this point he is a celebrity not a source of contacts.

Back to the OJ knife topic, I don't think there was ever any proof what knife was used, no murder weapon was recovered. It is odd we cannot recollect every detail, my god the trial seemed to be on every channel 24/7 like Big Brother in 1984, how could everyone not remember everything?

Isn't Ford dead? And wasn't his real name Leslie Lynch King? I guess Jerry Ford sounded way better than "Lynch King".

You are thinking of Francisco Franco! (70's SNL reference!)

Seriously I doubt death would stop his being listed on boards, stranger things happen, dead people voting in many wards for example.

oh yeah i am known for sometimes not following my own advice lol, in the heat of the moment its hard to not do anything in a situation like that, i would hope i have "lived and learned" but like i say sometimes, if i am pissed, i dont follow my own advice lol.

Thanks. I don't suppose that's really the optimum weapon to chop off heads?

Are these ready to have spring popped in them?
