O.K. I hadn't heard this, Sal. A Kerambit?

I believe they are working on the pilot run right now. If all goes well, I think that would probably put it on dealer shelves by 2nd Qtr 2004 (?). I don't know if they are putting it in the 2004 catalog.

Dialex I gotta hand it to you. I could really give two wet farts for a Kerambit these days, ANY kerambit, but that one there is worth something. That puppy is definately not running with the same pack as everyone else and that's a great thing. Nice job.

thats a mega cool project sal , carlos & gang... only thing, with that blade curve, would we be able to sharpen it using a benchstone? or a dmt folding sharpener?

Yes, it comes apart. Yes the clip is reversible.

The Spyderfly is in the 2004 catalog.

One more reason why Sharpmakers rule!

Yummy! The butterfly and spider mule! :)
When will the 2004 catalog be available for us mortals?

Chambers, thank you for the nice words. I have another one (much different and better than this one, IMO) almost finished. :)

Typically early of January is the official release of the consumer catalog. Dealers get theirs a couple months earlier.

bump bump bump because i love the thought of this...

Sal & gang... do you think this would cost about the same as a large SS model?

A spydie that comes apart? Is that a feature that will be specific to this model, or something that you're going to try and incorporate into other models?

Chris

ok, now THAT is cool! I have no use for kerambits in general but I would definitely by that mutha in a heartbeat! DAAAAAMMMMMMMMM

If I remember correctly, several of the US spydies are put together with hex/torx/similar fasteners that would let you take them apart. But this isn't recommended and voids the warranty. I imagine that the kerambit will be the same???

As to the pinned question, I would think that it would be screws like the Cricket...correct me if I'm wrong. Will the kerambit have the thinner scales like the Cricket? Will the finger hole be chamfered?
Thanks,
Matt
