O/T: Mountain Biking

I am an avid mountain biker, but don't race anymore. My last 2 bikes are both Titus full suspension. For the price, you can't go wrong with Specialized. I have a Specialized stumpjumper hardtail that is almost 20 years old, and it's still dependable.
 
Lots of great advice everyone, its highly appreciated. Looks like the 26" vs 29" thing has a lot to do with the individual and their opinion so I will be spending some time at a local shop soon seeing which I like best. I have pretty much made up my mind on a hardtail for now, the rest I shall figure out very soon at my LBS.
 
I have a Giant Anthem 29er full suspension and I love it. But I'm also thinking about the Specialized single speed 29er...
 
I used to ride professionaly and i have tried a lot of brands but i settlede on KONA..

I've been riding my entire life, well since I was 12. My parents got me an old Huffy mountain bike when I was very young and I never looked back. It's such a joy to get out in the open.
I have a 2000 Diamondback Zetec that's been in storage for years, and I currently ride a 2008 Specialized FSR XC Expert.

Those Kona's look sweet!

Im currently looking at a 2013 Scott Aspect 940 29er on craigslist. Still doing my research but I might be able to get it for $550, what do y'all think?
