O.T. Well y'all know I made it. Update.

Great news! This has been like eating an elephant, one bit at a time.

Still on the list,

Noah

Weathered another storm! Good job. Glad to hear the arteries are clear.

A while ago the docs ran me through some tests. After each one they said, "It looks like you might have some heart problem, but it's not conclusive." They ran me all the way to the most expensive (angiogram) and as I lay on the table with a catheter running from the femoral artery in my groin to my heart, the doc says, "I can't see a darn thing wrong. I wish my heart looked this good."

At least I can feel good knowing I helped to finance the college education of several doctor's sons!

That is great news Yvsa! I'm very glad for you. I'm glad, but not surprised the first Dr. was wrong. Second opinions (and third and fourth opinions) are good.

Regards,

Norm

 Great news!
I've learned to take Dorothy along as much as possible whenever I have to see the doctor. That way, I have somebody I can ask "what did he say about the whozis?", and she usually can figure out what I mean and remember what he said. Short-term memory is the second thing to go - I forget what was first ;)

Thanks for all the kudoes and good wishes gang!!!! There's just something about the folks here that promote healing it seems.:D ;)

I know what you mean Berk, I surely do. Barb was there but had left the room for a moment and wasn't there when Dr. Katz was telling me about all the different things.
Dr. Katz's nurse has called about 3 times today after I called her this morning asking about whether I should be having much pain in my right leg today. She said it was normal to hurt for a day or two but I don't recall it hurting this much four years ago.
Maybe it's because of the increased back pain that's causing it too hurt so.
I like a Dr. who sees that things are followed up on. Methinks I have another good Dr. in the line up.
Now if my new Internal Med Dr. is as good as Dr. Shaw I'll be in good hands all the way around!!!!

If you just absolutely have to have Dr's like I do then it's best to find the very best there is and expecially the very best that will communicate with you.
It's taken me a long time to find the Dr's I now have and I'm not letting them go. I really hated to lose Dr. Shaw for several reasons but at least now he'll have some time to come set in our Lodge and participate in our Sweat's from time to time, that's a good thing!!!! :D
