Here is a slim dagger made from O1 steel.

The handle is Bocote, and the spacers are linen micarta and stainless steel.
It also has a brass bolster.

The sheath is hand stitched black leather with a boot clip.

Dimensions are as follows:
Blade 3 3/4", 8 1/4" overall

Price reduced to $SOLD - check, money order or paypal
Shipping is $5

I like this knife quite a bit, and am sure you will also.

I like the way you did the spacers on the handle. The blade looks a bit small for a dagger. The design of the sheath is very interesting. My first knife with a sheath like that was a Graham Brothers Ringed Razel. I liked it so well that I asked a sheath maker (Vadim Grynko) to make another one for a little Baby Chitlangi.

It is a bit small for a dagger, maybe I should call it a slim dagger or a boot knife or something like that. The sheath kind of just came to me so I thought I would try it to see if it works. (it does)
Still available.

I like the idea of boot knives. Unfortunately, I don't have any boots that would accommodate them.

I like the swells that you incorporated into your handle. I'd like to see more of your work.

Please don't be discouraged when something is slow to move. I think that daggers are generally not as popular as hunters, fighters, and bowies. We don't see a lot of them on this forum.

If I may make a friendly suggestion, if you are in a real hurry to sell this, you could try either using eBay, or dropping the price by $5/week until it sells. The trick is to tell people what you're doing so it doesn't look like you're desperate.

Good luck.

I like that idea hondo. I have to agree with you about the daggers. I made it kind of just for the heck of it, but everyone I show it to keeps telling me that I cant own a double edged knife in this state, so I am a bit desperate to sell it. (I work with some policemen, and dont want to be arrested)
I like the drop it by 5 bucks a week thing, I will give that a try.

One of my friends told me about a "Dutch auction", whereby a starting price is slowly lowered until someone says, "I'll take it." I think it's a neat idea.

I just thought of something. I know someone who might just be interested. I'll send him a link.
